South Lake High School has entered into a partnership with Microsoft to provide computer science programs to high school students. The program provides training for teachers, but also matches teachers with volunteers from the computer science industry to help and guide the classroom. We are actively seeking computer science professionals that would be willing to dedicate an hour of their morning to helping develop the next generation of computer scientists and programmers. No teaching experience is required and a certified teacher will be present with the students at all times. If you or someone you know, is interested in working with us, please review the attached information and register to be a volunteer by visiting https://www.tealsk12.org/volunteers/
If you have any questions regarding this program, please contact the Curriculum Office at (586) 435-1640.
