School Supply Lists by Grade


Although we will have school supplies available in the classroom for all students to use, many parents provide supplies for their child. If you choose to purchase school supplies for your child, please refer to the preferred supply lists by grade.
 

 

 

 

 

Kindergarten Recommended Supply List Fall

 

We use community supplies in Kindergarten where the whole classroom shares supplies in table caddies.  There is no need for your child to have any individual supplies in Kindergarten… you can save those for home!  If you are able to donate supplies for our classroom please see the list below for recommended items.  We greatly appreciate any donations!!!!

 

 

* 2 boxes of 8 crayons (Crayola preferred)

* 1 package of fat dry erase markers (Expo preferred)

* 10 glue sticks

* 3 boxes of Kleenex

* 1 box of sandwich OR gallon Ziploc bags

* 1 box of quart Ziploc bags

* 3 boxes no. 2 yellow pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)

* 2 containers of Clorox Wipes (No Lysol brand please due to allergies)

* 1 roll of paper towels

* 1 package of white paper plates (paper feel, not shiny, the cheaper the better)

* 1 packages baby wipes

* 1 package lunch bags

* 1 change of clothes, in a bag, labeled with name.  Accidents happen!

 

 

1st Grade Recommended Supply List Fall

 

 

Although we will have school supplies available in the classroom for all students to use, the first grade teachers strongly recommend that each student have their own school supplies for their own personal use.  This is only a SUGGESTED list of items they might want to have:

 

  • 4 fine tip black white board markers. (BLACK is the only acceptable color for our math whiteboards).  
  • 1 box of 24 count crayons 
  • 2 packs of #2 pencils (LOTS of sharpened pencils!!)  
  • erasers (large - not pencil top)
  • Several washable glue sticks  
  • 1 spiral notebook
Additional items for the Classroom include:
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex  
  • sandwich baggies 
  • play dough, assorted colors  
  • napkins, paper plates, plastic silverware
 
Personal Supplies

  • Backpack labeled with child’s name in permanent marker (no wheels please)

  • 2 packs of #2 pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)
  • 1 pack of large pink erasers (not pencil toppers)
  • 1 box of 24-count crayons
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex
  • 4 washable glue sticks
  • 4 black EXPO dry erase markers, skinny
  • 2 boxes of kleenex
  • Girls: 1 box of Ziploc quart size baggies
  • Boys: 1 box of Ziploc gallon size baggies
  • Boys:  1 bottle hand soap
  • Girls:  1 bottle hand sanitizer
  • Girls:  1 container Clorox wipes
  • Boy:  1 container baby wipes

 

 

Suggested Supplies to have at Home for Homework:

  • Crayons and/or colored pencils
  • Pair of scissors
  • Glue sticks
  • Pencils

3rd Grade Recommended Supply List Fall

 

Although we will have school supplies available in the classroom for all students to use, the third grade teachers strongly recommend that each student have their own school supplies for their own personal use.  This is only a SUGGESTED list of items they might want to have:

 

**Please write your child’s name on markers, glue, and scissors ONLY! The other items I create labels for**

 

  • 5 spiral bound notebooks (wide ruled)
  • 5 - 2 pocket folders
  • Extra notebook(s) for personal use
  • Headphones or earbuds (for M-Step, NWEA, and lab use)
  • Refillable Water bottle
  • #2 Pencils (Ticonderogas are the best, unlimited amountJ)
  • Pink Block Eraser/s or pencil toppers
  • Crayons,  Colored pencilsm Markers & Water Colors (unlimited amount)
  • Elmer’s Bottled Glue and Glue Sticks
  • 2 thin EXPO black markers
  • Small sock, piece of felt, OR EXPO Eraser-NO SPRAY CLEANER
  • Kleenex (2 boxes-please and thank youJ)
  • 2 or more boxes Clorox Bleach Wipes
  • 12” ruler (standard and metric)
  • Personal pencil sharpener
  • Homework Folder
  • Large Clipboard
  • Pencil Bag or Box
  • Highlighters
  • Black Paper Mate Flair Marker (colored ones are welcome, too)
  • Post It notes (any size, line or unlined)

 

 

Additional Items for Classroom Use

  • Paper cups, paper plates, bowls, forks, spoons, and napkins, Roll of Masking Tape, Paper  Towels, Sandwich Size Ziploc Bags, Clorox/Lysol Wipes

Please refrain from bringing the following to school-

  • Trapper Keepers or extra binders (they will sent back home)Permanent markers
  • Personal pencil sharpeners
  • Mini staplers

 

Notes:

Please sharpen pencils before bringing them in and have many extras!

Book bags should have straps and be able to hang on hooks in the coatroom

Please label supplies with your child's name

4th Grade Recommended Supply List Fall

 

Although we will have school supplies available in the classroom for all students to use, the fourth grade teachers strongly recommend that each student have their own school supplies for their own personal use.  This is only a SUGGESTED list of items they might want to have:

 

  • #2 Pencils with Erasers (Ticonderoga are best, unlimited amount)
  • Refillable Water Bottle
  • Homework Folder (durable)
  • 1 pack of large pink erasers (not pencil toppers)
  • 2 Highlighters
  • 3 - 2 pock folders (any kind)
  • Extra notebook(s) for personal use
  • Scissors
  • Elmer’s Bottled Glue and Glue Sticks
  • 2 red pens
  • 1 inch blue binder
  • 12” Ruler (Standard & Metric)
  • Post It notes (any sizes, lined or unlined)
  • 2 EXPO or BIC whiteboard THIN markers, black only
  • 1 set earbuds in labeled, plastic bag (for computer lab use)
  • 1 pack of loose leaf paper (lined)
  • 1 pack of dividers (used for binders)

 

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES FOR CLASSROOM USE

  • Rolls of masking tape

  • Sandwich, gallon, or quart size Ziploc Bags

  • Refillable Water Bottle

  • Pink Block Eraser or pencil toppers
  • Crayons, Colored Pencils, Markers, and Water Colors (unlimited amount)
  • Black Sharpie markers – regular and thin line
  • Highlighters
  • Scissors
  • 6 Pocket folders
  • Glue Sticks and Elmers Bottled Glue
  • 12” Ruler (Standard & Metric)
  • Black Paper Mate Flair Marker (colored ones are welcome, too)
  • Post It notes (any sizes, lined or unlined
  • 6 – Spiral Notebooks, 100 pages or more
  • Roll of clear packing tape
  • Headphones or earbuds (for M-STEP and lab use when needed)
  • Container of supplies
  • Novel for silent reading (we will be silent reading each day)
 
It is recommended that students use folders rather than binders or trapper keeps as there is not enough room in the desk for these.

 

ADDITIONAL SUPPLIES FOR CLASSROOM USE
