School Supply Lists by Grade


Although we will have school supplies available in the classroom for all students to use, many parents provide supplies for their child. If you choose to purchase school supplies for your child, please refer to the preferred supply lists by grade.
 
School Year 2019-2020

 

 

 

Kindergarten Recommended Supply List Fall

 

We use community supplies in Kindergarten where the whole classroom shares supplies in table caddies.  There is no need for your child to have any individual supplies in Kindergarten… you can save those for home!  If you are able to donate supplies for our classroom please see the list below for recommended items.  We greatly appreciate any donations!!!!

 

 

* 2 boxes of 8 crayons (Crayola preferred)

* 1 package of fat dry erase markers (Expo preferred)

* 10 glue sticks

* 3 boxes of Kleenex

* 1 box of sandwich OR gallon Ziploc bags

* 1 box of quart Ziploc bags

* 3 boxes no. 2 yellow pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)

* 2 containers of Clorox Wipes (No Lysol brand please due to allergies)

* 1 roll of paper towels

* 1 package of white paper plates (paper feel, not shiny, the cheaper the better)

* 1 packages baby wipes

* 1 package lunch bags

* 1 change of clothes, in a bag, labeled with name.  Accidents happen!

 

 

1st Grade Recommended Supply List Fall

 

 

Although we will have school supplies available in the classroom for all students to use, we use COMMUNITY SUPPLIES in 1st grade, where the whole classroom shares supplies.  There is no need for your child to have individual supplies at school - please save those for home. 

 

Personal Supplies:

  • Backpack labeled with child's name in permanent markers (no wheels, please)
Additional items for the Classroom include:
  • 2 packs of #2 pencils (Ticonderoga preferred)
  • 4 EXPO black dry eraser markers, skinny
  • Scissors (with their name on the handle)
  • 4 washable glue sticks
  • 1 box of 24 count crayons 
  • Markers (no more than 12 count)
  • Spiral notebook for free writing and drawing (also labeled)
  • Kleenex
  • Ziploc sandwich baggies and gallon sized baggies
  • Baby wipes or Lysol wipes
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Large container of healthy snacks (i.e. animal crackers, pretzels, cheerios, graham crackers)
 
Suggested Homework Supplies (keep at home):
  • Crayons, pencils, ruler

2nd Grade Recommended Supply List Fall

 

 

Personal Supplies:

3rd Grade Recommended Supply List Fall

 

Backpack (no wheels please)

  • 1 zippered supply bag (NO boxes)
  • 2 Packs of #2 Pencils (Ticonderoga preferred) NO mechanical pencils
  • 1 Pack large pin erasers (not pencil toppers)
  • 2 boxes of Kleenex
  • 1 container of Clorox Disinfectant Wipes
  • 2 highlighters
  • 2 BLACK EXPO dry erase markers
  • 1 set earbuds in labeled , plastic bag
  • GIRLS:  1 box of Ziploc quart size baggies
  • BOYS: 1 box of Ziploc gallon size baggies
  • 1 inch BLUE binder
  • 2 glue sticks
  • 2 red pens
  • 1 pack of loose leaf paper (lined)
  • 1 pack of dividers (used for binders)
  • 1 box 16 count Crayola crayons
  • 1 box Crayola watercolor markers
  • 2 black composition books, wide-ruled

4th Grade Recommended Supply List Fall

 

Although we will have school supplies available in the classroom for all students to use, the fourth grade teachers strongly recommend that each student have their own school supplies for their own personal use.  This is only a SUGGESTED list of items they might want to have:

 

  • #2 Pencils with Erasers (Ticonderoga are best, sharpened unlimited amount)
  • Refillable Water Bottle
  • Homework Folder (plastic, durable)
  • Large Clip Board
  • 1 pack of large pink erasers or pencil toppers
  • 2 - thin black EXPO markers (NO extra colored EXPOS)
  • 2 - thick black EXPO markers (NO extra colored EXPOS)
  • Pencil Bag or Box
  • Crayons, Colored Pencils, Markers and Water Colors (all optional
  • Highlighters
  • Glues Sticks and Elmers Bottled Glue
  • Black Paper Mate Flair Markers
  • Post It Notes (any sizes, lined or unlined)
  • 4 - Spiral Bound Notebooks (for Math/Social Studies, wide ruled)
  • 3 - 2 pocket solid colored folders
  • Headphones or earbuds (for testing and lab use, keep in book bag)

  • Rolls of masking tape
  • Sandwich size Ziploc Bags
  • Kleenex (2 boxes, please)

NOTES

  1. No “Trapper Keepers” or extra binders.  (They will be sent back home.)
  2. No personal pencil sharpeners.
  3. No mini staplers.  (They will be sent back home.)
  4. Please sharpen pencils before bringing them in and have many extras!
  5. Book bags should have straps and be able to hang on hooks in the coat room; no wheels.
  6. Please label supplies with your child’s name.
  7. All items are optional for purchase.

 

5th Grade Recommended Supply List Fall

 

  • #2 Pencils (Ticonderogas are best, sharpened, unlimited amount)

  • Pens (black, blue and red) - Preferably Erasable
  • Pink Block Eraser or pencil toppers

  • Highlighters
  • Scissors
  • 6 Pocket folders
  • Glue Sticks 
  • 12” Ruler (Standard & Metric)
  • Post It notes (any sizes, lined or unlined
  • 6 – Spiral Notebooks, 100 pages or more
  • Roll of clear packing tape
  • Headphones or earbuds (for M-STEP and lab use when needed)
  • Container of supplies
  • Novel for silent reading (we will be silent reading each day)
 
It is recommended that students use folders rather than binders or trapper keeps as there is not enough room in the desk for these.
